Some Americans will be getting more money in the form of an additional stimulus check this week.
Around 1,150,000 California residents will be getting additional money for the pandemic at the end of the month.
This is from the Golden State Stimulus I and II programs. The next round of checks are expected to go out on Halloween.
The next checks will range from $600 to $1,100 and qualifying recipients must have made below $75,000 during the pandemic and live in California.
To qualify for the GSII stimulus check, you must have filed your taxes for 2020 by Oct. 15, have an AGI of $1 to $75,000 for all of 2020, be a California resident for over half of the year, be a California resident on the date the payment is issued, and not be claimed as a dependent.
Checks will be sent staggered by zip code.
