A fugitive wanted in Arkansas was arrested in Cayuga County on Tuesday after a coordinated effort by local authorities and U.S. Marshals.
Hayden S. Crow, 24, of Paragould, Arkansas, was taken into custody at a residence in the Town of Sterling. Members of the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office assisted the United States Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force in the arrest.
Crow was wanted on a nationwide extraditable warrant for violating parole in Arkansas. He also faces multiple outstanding charges in that state, including two counts of theft of property, theft of a firearm, four counts of theft of debit cards, and illegal possession of a firearm.
He is currently being held at Cayuga County Jail on a Fugitive from Justice Warrant while awaiting extradition to Arkansas.
