Canandaigua man broke into city home, stole property after fighting resident

The Canandaigua Police Department reports the arrest of a city resident following a burglary investigation.

David Fivie, 30, was charged with second degree burglary.

He’s accused of unlawfully entering a resident’s home, engaging in a physical altercation with the person. He then stole property belonging to the victim and damaged more property at the residence.

Fivie was taken into custody and processed without incident.

Due to Fivie having a previous felony conviction he was held without bail.
