The man originally found guilty for the murder of Jawaun Brumfield in 2017 will be returning to state prison.
In 2017, Jawaun Brumfield was beat to death in an apartment on Hallenbeck Ave. in Geneva.
Jeff Salone Jr. was found guilty of his murder and sentenced to 25 years in prison.
A State Supreme Court Judge later reversed his sentence after saying testimony from a Geneva Police Detective shouldn’t have been allowed during the trial.
According to the Finger Lakes Times, he will now return to prison and serve 3-6 years with time served for a second felony offense.
