A Canandaigua man was taken into custody Monday afternoon on a bench warrant issued out of the Farmington Town Court, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Michael Benzer, 36, of Emerson Road, was arrested at 3:01 p.m. on June 30 and transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he was held for CAP Court proceedings.
Deputies said Benzer will appear in Farmington Town Court at a later date to respond to the charge. The warrant’s origin and specific charge were not disclosed in the press release.
The arrest was conducted by Deputy Jacobs of the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
