Skaneateles driver flips car trying to avoid animal, found to be driving impaired by state police

A Skaneateles woman was arrested over the weekend after tipping her car over while driving under the influence. 

According to state police, Stephanies Wild, 35, was driving south on Jordan Road shortly before 9 p.m. when she swerved to avoid hitting an animal.


Her car went off the road and rolled upside down, according to troopers. 

First responders evaluated Wild at the scene, and while she wasn’t hurt— she was found to be impaired by drugs.

She was charged with driving while ability impaired and issued an appearance ticket.
