Sept. 11 will be the third annual HEELS UP 5K race.
The event will be hybrid, with an option to race in person starting at 9 a.m. at the Medical Arts Building on the hospital campus at 418 N. Main St., or virtually between Sept. 4-18.
Last year the event was completely virtual and raised over $9,000.
This year’s event will benefit a renovation project in the common space on Unit 4, which is the neurobehavioral unit located at The Homestead at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital.
