Geneva police arrested a local man on several charges including assault and burglary after injuring a person during an incident.
Jeffrey Darnell Lander Jr., 24, of Geneva, was arrested on May 19 following a domestic incident on Pulteney Street. He faces charges of third-degree assault, second-degree burglary, and contempt.
Lander was accused of making physical contact with another person, causing injury. After being released by the court, Lander allegedly returned to the victim’s residence, unlawfully entered, and violated a “Stay away” order of protection.
The charges stem from his actions during and after the incident, leading to his arrest.
