Monday marks the start of fall sports in the Rochester area.
The CDC views Monroe County as an area that has a high transmission rate, but sports will operate more normal than they previously have since the start of COVID.
Coach Rick Gause with Bishop Kearney will be using things implemented from before to create a safe football season.
One thing he’s requiring is that each athlete has their own hand sanitizer and has staff asking them if they’re vaccinated. He will also only allow a certain number of athletes in the locker room at one time.
