State Association and Section Five have decided to leave all decisions surrounding sports up to districts

Both the State Association, and Section Five, have decided to leave it up to the schools to decide if they wanted to play sports this year.

The Finger Lakes Athletic Directors met this week and all decided they want to play sports this year.

The State Association has said they will not enforce any mandates. If mandates are decided, it will be by the school districts and local health departments.

Last year football was considered a high risk sport, and not played in the fall. The spring saw a shorter season.
