A residence on Hollywood Road in Old Forge was leveled due to an explosion on Friday.
Two landscapers had been working on a home next door to the explosion and suffered injuries including bruising and lacerations.
One was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
17 homes have been damaged due to the explosion ranging from structural damage to broken windows.
According to investigators with State Fire and Homeland Security, propane was likely involved.
A state of emergency was declared for the area so resources could evaluate the stability of homes near the explosion.
