Car crashes into motorcyclist in Clyde: One hospitalized with non life threatening injuries

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has provided an update on a personal injury crash that happened in the village of Clyde involving a motorcycle.

Deputies responded to the intersection of West Genesee and Lock streets for a passenger car and motorcycle crash.

It was discovered the passenger car failed to yield the right of way at the intersection and struck a motorcycle.

The motorcycle left the roadway and struck a tree after the crash.

The operator suffered non life threatening injuries and was transported to Newark Wayne Community Hospital, deputies added.

New York State Police, Clyde Fire Department, and Eastern Wayne Ambulance assisted at the scene.
