Deputies arrested a Newark woman following a family trouble complain on Miller Road in the town of Arcadia during the early-morning hours on Saturday.
Shyann Rothfuss, 23, of Newark was arrested for obstruction after an attempted break-in.
Deputies say Rothfuss attempted to break in to a home, and during the investigation, kicked a deputy in the stomach.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
