The Ontario County Fair was officially opened on Tuesday after taking a year off and is celebrating its 178th year.
Julie Maslyn, a fair organizer, said when it came to making decisions about the fair, health and safety decisions were tabled until the date got closer because they changed so much.
Now, the fair will be open and as “normal” as possible.
The fairgrounds are in Canandaigua on County Road 10.
