After public outcry- a popular spot in Canandaigua along Canandaigua Lake will reopen to the general public.
Earlier this month The Sand Bar announced that it would only be open to guests of The Lake House on Canandaigua due to staffing issues.
While few agreed with the move- the general public voiced intense opposition to the change on social media and in the community.
On Thursday The Sand Bar announced that they would be reopening to the public on July 28 by reservation only.
The second restaurant at the property has remained open to the public throughout.
