Deputies say a Rochester woman was taken into custody after resisting arrest during a traffic stop on State Route 104.
Around 12:35 a.m. on Thursday in the town of Sodus, deputies arrested Tina Thompson, 31, of Rochester on one count of obstructing governmental administration and one count of resisting arrest.
It’s alleged that she refused to exit a vehicle, which she was operating on Route 104. She had been advised by deputies that there was an active arrest warrant in the city of Rochester, which meant she needed to be taken into custody.
Deputies say a brief struggle ensued, but she was taken into custody and processed at the Wayne County Jail. She was released on an appearance ticket, and transported to Rochester Police for arraignment on those charges.
