Deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Sodus man following a family trouble call.
Emmanuel Cornwell, 33, was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing after an argument escalated between He and his girlfriend.
The verbal argument became physical when Cornwell grabbed the woman by her neck and choked her.
Deputies say he was transported to the Wayne County Jail for arraignment.
