Police arrested a 34-year-old Conesus man following an investigation into his attempt to lure a child.
Jeremy Worthington, 34, of Conesus was charged with attempting to lure a child, according to police, who say that he contacted a 14-year-old child.
The child, who was contacted for purpose of sexual activity, was actually an undercover police officer.
He was arrested and issued an apperance ticket.
