Intersection Safety
#scanthegreenlight
With safety as our number one core value, we are always watching out for each other. We want to make sure that at the end of every work day, our team goes home to their families – why we work safe.
Safety at intersections, whether as a driver or pedestrian, is paramount to safely navigating our roadways. According to the Federal Highway Administration, More than 50 percent of the combined total of fatal and injury crashes occur at or near intersections.
Ways to assist in intersection safety:
– Obey the rules of the intersection
– Enter the intersection at the appropriate speed
– Ensure an unobstructed view
– Maneuver at a safe speed
– Scan for other driver actions, even when the light turns green
– See and be seen
