The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 32-year-old on a number of charges following a string of incidents between May 26 and June 3.
Deputies say Samuel Eckert, 32, who is an inmate at the jail was charged with 19 counts of first-degree criminal contempt and 19 counts of aggravated family offense.
The charges are felonies. Deputies say the incidents involved Eckert contacting a protected party numerous times over that period- despite there being an active court order.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
