One person has been charged after a lengthy investigation into a shooting that happened in Ithaca on January 15.
Michael Baez, 19, of Ithaca was charged with attempted murder.
He is accused of firing gunshots into a group of people – which included a young child. He was arrested on Friday on a number of charges including possession of a weapon, reckless endangerment, and tampering with physical evidence.
Baez was held at the Tompkins County Jail pending bail.
