Two weeks after announcing that he would resign – Ithaca City School Superintendent Dr. Luvelle Brown announced at a Board of Education meeting on Tuesday that he would not leave.
There was an opportunity with Discovery Education, which apparently intrigued him enough to consider it. However, that is no longer the case, according to his sentiment at Tuesday’s meeting, as reported by The Ithaca Voice.
That resignation announcement was followed by a letter written on behalf of Brown’s ex-wife to the state Department of Education. It called for an investigation into a variety of aspects of Brown’s conduct.
Brown denied the allegations, which include a mixed bag of personal and professional conduct issues related to his work as superintendent.
