60 units of senior housing could be coming to vacant Sennett property

New senior housing could be coming to the town of Sennett in Cayuga County.

The Auburn Citizen reports that officials will hear from the public, and could move forward with a zoning change at a hearing scheduled next week.

The 60-unit senior housing complex would be called Sennett Meadows. It would be placed on vacant land that sits at 3365 E. Genesee Street Road.

The land is currently zoned residential.
