The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Newark man following an investigation into a violent domestic incident.
It happened in the town of Arcadia.
Deputies say Jaeson Bridgeman, 40, of Newark was reportedly involved in a physical altercation with a female victim at which time he’s accused of striking her in the face several times.
He’s also accused of choking her. Throughout the duration of the assault – three children were present, deputies said in a release.
Bridgeman was charged with aggravated family offense – a felony, as well as assault, criminal obstruction of breathing, and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
He was transported to the Wayne County Jail and will answer the charges at a later date.
