First responders were called to the report of a serious ATV crash in Ontario County around 7 p.m. on Monday.
Deputies and emergency crews were dispatched fro the report of a rollover four-wheeler accident on Canadice Lake Road. It was reported that Meghan Folts, 33, of Canadice, and her three children – ages 11, 4, and 1 – were sitting on their four wheeler while it was stationary when the throttle was pressed.
Two of the children were ejected off the rear of the ATV before it crashed into a fence with Folts and the 4-year-old male.
The ATV then overturned.
Honeoye-Richmond Fire and Ambulance responded and all were transported to Strong Memorial Hospital.
Deputies say the 4-year-old was airlifted by Mercy Flight, while Folts, as well as the 11- and 1-year-old children were transported by ambulance.
The 4-year-old is listed in guarded condition, while the other three involved are listed in stable condition.
Deputies say none of the individuals were wearing helmets. The investigation into the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
