Deputies: Syracuse man violated court order in Wayne County, possessed weapon during traffic stop

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 30-year-old Syracuse man following a traffic stop in the area of State Route 104 and Pratt Road.

During the traffic stop Quinton Keene, 30, of Syracuse violated an order of protection, issued in Rochester City Court.

Deputies say they witnessed Keene video call the protected female subject. Following a search of his vehicle an expandable metal baton was located in the center console.

Keene was subsequently charged with second-degree criminal contempt, criminal possession of a weapon, aggravated unlicensed operation, and operating while registration suspended.

Keene was transported to the Wayne County Jail pending arraignment.
