On Saturday around 1:52 a.m. police responded to a burglary alarm at the Byrne Dairy on N. Meadow Street in the city of Ithaca.
Upon arrival, officers learned that a robbery had occurred. A firearm was said to have been displayed during the incident as well.
As the investigation began, police learned that the suspect fled north with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5’7″ with average build, wearing a ski mask, clear gloves, a gray or black jacket, and black pants.
