A 37-year-old Wayne County man is now facing charges after an incident that occurred on November 2019.
While it’s not clear why it took so long for an arrest to be made, but Nicholas Tandle, 37, of Lyons was recently taken into custody for kicking his 11-year-old son out of the house.
It was raining and cold on November 11th, 2019 when the incident occurred. Tandle refused to answer the door for police and would not let his son back into the house.
More than five months later, Tandle was arrested – on April 21st at his home – while authorities completed a welfare check on an unrelated incident.
His arraignment hasn’t been scheduled yet, and it’s not clear what charges were filed against him.
