The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of an Arcadia man following the investigation of a disturbance on Monday.
Around 1:37 p.m. deputies arrested Michael Gascoigne, 36, for harassment and first-degree criminal contempt.
The contempt charge is a felony, according to deputies.
He’s accused of shoving his ex-girlfriend during an argument over cigarettes causing her to fall.
Gascoigne also violated an active order of protection during the incident. He was transported to the Wayne County Jail and will answer the charges at a later date.
