Troopers say man threatened to kill officers, their families during booking in Elbridge

Troopers say a Fulton man threatened to kill officers, and damaged property by urinating on it while he was being processed after an arrest in Elbridge.

Achilles S. Reinhardt, 22, was arrested over the weekend and now faces a terroristic threat charge.

Reinhardt is accused of making multiple threats to shoot officers with a rifle. He’s also accused of threatening to kill their family members.

Troopers say Reinhardt also damaged equipment inside a booking room at the Elbridge State Police station.

Police say Reinhardt was charged with making a terroristic threat, a felony; as well as criminal mischief, two counts of obstructing governmental administration, harassment, criminal nuisance, DWI, and bail jumping.

The charges will be answered at a later date.
