Deputies in Steuben County say an Addison woman was taken into custody on animal cruelty charges following an investigation.
Kristin Olson, 41, was charged with two counts of overdriving and/or failing to feed an animal.
Deputies say that tip led to an investigation at a residence on State Route 417 in Jasper.
The person who reported it said that the animals were not being cared for properly.
Upon investigation, two dogs were taken to the Finger Lakes SPCA for treatment.
Olson was released on an appearance ticket.
