The Yates County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating two separate burglaries that took place in the town of Jerusalem.
These incidents occurred in the overnight hours at two businesses on January 28 and February 22 at 2862 Guyanoga Road and 3745 Italy Hill Road respectively. Authorities believe these burglaries may be connected to a larger criminal activity involving multiple areas.
These break-ins have prompted a call for public assistance. The Sheriff’s Office urges anyone with information about these crimes to come forward and contact them at 315-536-4438.
Additionally, locals in the Branchport area are encouraged to report any suspicious activities to the authorities immediately, either through the same number or by dialing 911 in emergencies.
