Troopers say a 39-year-old was charged with three counts of first-degree aggravated driving while intoxicated, felony charges, after a serious crash that first responders were called to on Saturday around 8:40 a.m.
Troopers said three children were inside the vehicle and had to be transported to Auburn Community Hospital for evaluation. It was a precaution.
Kelly Beattie, 39, was charged with three felony counts of aggravated DWI. Due to the children being inside the vehicle at the time of the rollover crash, which happened on Route 90 in Montezuma – the charges were filed under Leandra’s Law.
Beattie’s BAC was determined to be 0.14%. She was also charged with DWI and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
