Deputies: Clyde man struck juvenile several times as victim held another child

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 44-year-old Clyde man following an investigation on January 18th around 10:46 p.m. in Galen.

Deputies arrested Shane V. Delyser, 44, of Clyde on two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of harassment.

It’s alleged that during a reported disturbance, Delyser struck a juvenile several times in the face. Deputies say that the juvenile victim was holding another juvenile.

Delyser was arrested and released on appearance tickets.

The charges will be answered at a later date.
