A 30 year employee of the town of Macedon has been appointed to a vacant seat, created by Kim Leonard’s appointment to town supervisor.
Richard ‘Dick’ Rotes, former Highway Superintendent and 30 year Macedon employee, was appointed to the post. He will serve as town councilor until December 31st, 2020 when the seat will be on the ballot.
Leonard’s supervisor post will also be on the ballot at the end of this year.
The Board resolved to abolish the position of Account Clerk and Senior account Clerk effective January 9, 2020. A Resolution was passed to appoint Miranda Clark as Clerk to the Supervisor effective January 1, 2020, according to the Times of Wayne County.
