Seneca Falls is saying goodbye to full-time legal representation.
The Town Board accepted the resignation of David Foster, the Geneva resident who succeeded Patrick Morrell, at last week’s final meeting of 2019.
Now, a public hearing will be held on Tuesday, January 7th at 6 p.m. to abolish the position.
Incoming Supervisor Mike Ferrara told the Finger Lakes Times that the town has advertised for proposals from law firms or individual attorneys for 2020. He told them that five proposals were received, and at this point – the board is united in appointing Midey, Mirras & Ricci, a Seneca Falls law firm to the role.
