A Bloomfield woman was arrested on Christmas Day after threatening someone with a steak knife, according to deputies.
Patricia J. Sawers, 58, of Bloomfield was arrested following a ‘family trouble’ call on Baptist Hill Road in Bristol.
Deputies say they made contact with the suspect, identified as Sawers, who is alleged to have damaged property inside a residence and threatened violence.
Sawers is accused of threatening a person inside a home with a steak knife.
She was charged with criminal mischief and menacing. Both of the charges will be answered at a later date in town court.
