Police: Waterloo woman arrested on warrant following Walmart theft

On Saturday around 7:22 a.m. the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested a Waterloo woman following a larceny investigation at Walmart.

Police say they received a report from asset protection that a theft had occurred on November 6th, and through investigation determined the suspect was 23-year-old Kimberly Shores, of Waterloo.

An arrest warrant was issued by the Town of Seneca Falls Court. On Saturday, Shores had contact with the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office for an unrelated matter. She was taken into custody on the warrant and transferred over to Seneca Falls Police.

Police say Shores was processed and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment. She will be due in the Town of Seneca Falls Court at a later date to answer the charge.
