In many ways, the Pallifrone home is like any other, filled with love and lots of photos. But it’s what they’ve faced that makes them special.
In November 2018, Todd Pallifrone was given life-changing news.
After numerous trips to the doctor, he was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, or A.L.S.
The incurable disease kills the neurons that control voluntary muscles.
Todd now communicates with a computer that tracks his eye movement.
“It progresses differently for each person. I would say mine is one of the faster-moving ones,” said Todd.
