Wayne County man accused of strangling woman during domestic incident

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Butler man following a domestic incident on September 22nd.

Phillip Seaton, 31, of Butler was charged with second-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing following an investigation into the incident.

Seaton is accused of strangling a woman with a belt during a violent domestic incident.

Deputies say Seaton was transported to the Wayne County Jail and arraigned. He will answer the charges in Butler Town Court at a later date.
