On the same day he was scheduled to be sentenced to prison for burglary, an Auburn man also admitted in Cayuga County Court Thursday to selling a controlled substance.
Branden Hackett, 30, said he sold the narcotic substance suboxone, which can be used to treat pain or opioid addictions, on Feb. 27 so that he could buy other drugs.
