Troopers: More than 125 animals seized from home in Ontario

State police say charges are pending after more than 125 animals were seized from a home in Wayne County.

Animal control seized 81 chickens, 11 ducks, 11 dogs, 5 cats, and 2 rabbits from a home on Ontario Center Road in the town of Ontario after troopers responded to a complaint on Tuesday.

Troopers said the animals were in “terrible” conditions.

The animals are now being cared for by a local shelter.
