Deputies: Wolcott man accused of taking wife’s keys, leaving her stranded in Wayne County

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Wolcott resident following an investigation into a domestic incident.

That incident occurred on Friday around 2 p.m., according to deputies.

Heath Roberts, 38, was charged with petit larceny and criminal contempt after entering his wife’s vehicle without permission – taking the keys – and running down the road.

According to deputies, Roberts’ wife was left stranded; and in the process of the incident – he violated a stay away order of protection.

As result, Roberts was charged and arraigned at the Wayne County Jail.
