Deputies: Newark man struck woman repeatedly, shoved her out of moving vehicle in Arcadia

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Newark man following an investigation into a domestic incident that occurred in the Town of Arcadia.

On August 12th at approximately 12:46 a.m. Marshall D. Watson, 60, of Newark was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, and third-degree assault after the investigation.

It is alleged that Watson struck a female victim n the face multi times while she was a passenger in that vehicle. It is also alleged that Wilson forcibly shoved the female out of the passenger side door while the vehicle was still moving.

The victim is currently being treated for injuries sustained in the incident, according to deputies.

Watson was taken into custody and processed at at the Wayne County Jail. Additional court proceedings are expected, according to deputies.
