Wolcott teen charged with robbery at Fastrac store

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Wolcott resident following an investigation into a convenience store larceny along Route 104.

Deputies say Kyle R. Mein, 19, of Wolcott was charged with robbery and criminal possession of a controlled substance after entering the Butler Fastrac along Route 104 – demanding money.

Deputies say Mein also claimed to possess a gun during the robbery.

After taking an estimated $240 from the cashier he fled the scene on foot. He was later located in Wolcott – and found to be in possession of a crack pipe with residue.

Mein was transported to the Wayne County Jail for processing and will answer the charges in Butler Town Court at a later date.
