A woman convicted of murdering her husband in Seneca County in 1991 is now out of New York state prison on parole.
Laurie Kellogg, who is now 54 years old, had been sentenced to serve 25 years to life. She ended up serving more than 26 years.
Kellogg was convicted of driving four teens to a cottage on Cayuga Lake that belonged to her husband, Bruce. One of the teens, Denver McDowell, who was 18 at the time, killed Bruce after shooting him in the head while he slept. Kellogg claimed she had been abused by her husband.

McDowell pleaded guilty, and remains in prison.
According to the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, Kellogg was granted parole on March 5.
