Town of Romulus taking steps to update Comp Plan

The Town of Romulus Planning Board has started taking steps to update its Comprehensive Plan.

At a public information session last Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the town hall in Willard, Subcommittee Chair Tom Bouchard explained, “The town’s plan was last done in 2001. A lot of things have changed since then.” He and Planning Board members Mary Joslyn and Bill Karlsen welcomed several hearty souls who came out on a frigid night to learn about forming a committee to help in this process.

“We’re very clear on what we don’t want,” Bouchard said. “Now, we have a great opportunity to decide as a community what we’d like to see here in the next 10 years or so. We’re going to need everyone’s input in order to accomplish this.”

The next informational session will be Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 7 PM at the Romulus Town Hall. All residents are encouraged to attend.
