Deputies report the arrest of a 29-year-old Newark resident on charges related to driving while under the influence of drugs over the weekend.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, Andrew Allen, 29, of Newark was stopped on January 19th for vehicle and traffic violations along State Route 31 when subsequent investigation revealed that he was under the influence of drugs.

He was also ticketed for failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely, uninspected motor vehicle, and unlawful possession of marijuana.
The charges will be answered in Galen Town Court at a later date.
