Eugene A. "Gene" Lisi Jr
GENEVA-Gene Lisi Jr, 63, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 8, 2026, surrounded by his family. In honoring Gene's wishes, there will be no calling hours. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
Gene was born on July 18, 1963 in Geneva, NY and was a son of the late Eugene and Dorothy (Osborne) Lisi. He graduated from Geneva High School. His lengthy car mechanic career spanned across Piehler's, D'Amico's and Peter Koch to ending as a diesel mechanic at Cat. Gene spent his life working on Harley Davidson Motorcycles (and anything else with an engine) and was often sought out for his expertise on anything Harley or car related. He was second to none when it came to any job he took on and took great pride in not giving up until the job was done to his standards. He enjoyed hunting, his many Boxer dogs, music and tinkering with old trucks that he then loved to drive around. Gene was reliable and dependable when you had a need that he could remedy. He was known to be three projects in for the day before anyone else was even awake.
He is survived by his son AJ (Catherine) Lisi; daughters Jessica DeFazio, Tonya (Perry) Wright and Missy (Adam) Sanford; sister Karla (Skip) Goff; grandchildren Joshua Lisi, Mason DeFazio, Dominick DeFazio, Emma, Chloe and Luke Sanford; nieces and nephews Kassandra (Jason) Michaels and Katrina (Josh) Mateo and his dog Opie.
