A Penn Yan man faces a drug-impaired driving charge and two additional charges after an Oct. 13 traffic stop in Jerusalem, according to the Yates County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said they stopped a vehicle on state Route 54A at 12:13 a.m. after observing a nonfunctioning headlamp.
The driver, Corey Fulmer, 25, of Penn Yan, was found to have suspended driving privileges, deputies said.
Deputies said Fulmer showed signs of impairment while speaking with them and underwent standardized field sobriety testing before his arrest.
He was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and a tail-lamp violation.
Fulmer was taken to the Yates County Public Safety Building for processing and released to appear in court at a later date.
